Praia d'el Rey golf course on the edge of the Atlantic
Praia d'el Rey resort
The Praia d'el Rey golf course was designed by the American architect Cabell B. Robinson to present the ultimate golfing challenge in stunning Silver Coast surroundings. Proof of his success came when Golf World Magazine ranked it as the thirteenth best course in Europe
Located on the edge of the Silver Coast countryside beside the sparkling Atlantic Ocean, Praia d'el Rey golf course offers deep bunkers, lush fairways, sand hazards and gently rolling greens that provide an endlessly varied game. Many golfers regard it as one of the continent’s most picturesque layouts.

Ocean views
The best views on this Silver Coast golf course come at the second hole, with its panoramic view of the ocean and the Berlengas archipelago; and at the twelfth and fourteenth where the fairways run alongside the water’s edge.

Praia d'el Rey golf course is less than an hour’s drive from Lisbon and not far from the medieval village of Óbidos, which along with the many other attractions of the Silver Coast is well worth visiting in between games of golf.
