The Bom Sucesso golf course, located near the medieval town of Óbidos, approximately 50 minutes north of Lisbon, is laid out over 600,000 sqm and winds between the villas, hotel and spa of the resort. Bom Sucesso Golf has agreed a number of reciprocity agreements with other Portuguese golf clubs, offering opportunities to play not just on the Silver Coast but all around the country.

The first nine holes at Bom Sucesso Golf are on level ground while the second nine traverse uneven terrain, offering a varied and challenging game. The Bom Sucesso golf course has been styled in the way of old classic courses, with a random element in the areas around the greens and approaches, and offers an interesting and undulating surface without being too severe. Bom Sucesso Golf aims to appeal to all levels of player - from the white tees the course is difficult enough for the world's best, yet from the forward tees those less skilled will still be able to enjoy navigating its wide variety of hazards.

Getting there:
Take the A8 Oeste from Lisbon towards Leiria. After 65 kilometres, take the exit at Junction 13 for A-Da-Gorda. Follow signs for Amoreira, following the red Bom Sucesso golf course signs. Just after Amoreira turn right and follow signs to Vau and Bom Sucesso. Drive through the village of Vau and about 4 kilometres later you will come to the Obidos Lagoon and the entrance to Bom Sucesso golf course.
